Mr. McGoldrick is of counsel for Davis, Bucco & Ardizzi. For over thirty-five years Mr. McGoldrick has actively engaged in all phases of labor and employment law. In addition to negotiating numerous union contracts for single employers and multi-employer associations, Mr. McGoldrick has represented management in hundreds of court and arbitration cases. He sits as counsel on numerous multi-employer/union pension, annuity, apprenticeship and welfare funds. Mr. McGoldrick also regularly represents management in wage and hour and other prevailing rate matters as well as OSHA/MSHA and related federal and state safety matters.
Mr. McGoldrick’s labor and employment experience is a valuable resource for any company or organization. His knowledge enables him to counsel his clients on establishing defensible company work rules and employee manuals. More specifically, he advises on hiring, firing, disciplining and other personnel matters. In this regard, Mr. McGoldrick has defended companies against claims of age, race and gender-based discrimination.
Mr. McGoldrick’s extensive litigation experience encompasses appearances before many federal and state courts, as well as administrative agencies including the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). Mr. McGoldrick has also successfully litigated before the United States Supreme Court and has been a member of the Supreme Court Bar since 1981.
In addition, Mr. McGoldrick serves as solicitor/general counsel for: the Contractors Association of Eastern Pennsylvania; the Employing Bricklayers Association of Delaware Valley and the Delaware Valley Masonry Institute; the New Jersey Concrete Contractors Association; and the Northern Line Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).
Formerly of the McAleese, McGoldrick Law Firm, Mr. McGoldrick was born and raised in Philadelphia. In addition to winning scholarships to LaSalle High School and LaSalle College, Mr. McGoldrick also attended Notre Dame Law School on an academic scholarship.
